Voronezh N.N. Burdenko State Medical University, established in 1918, is one of Russia's leading research and teaching centers in the field of medicine. Accredited by the Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency, the university has gained a reputation for providing high-quality education and conducting advanced scientific research. With more than 8,000 students enrolled, it is one of the oldest educational institutions in the country.

The university comprises six faculties, four institutes, and one research institute. The Faculty of General Medicine, the largest and oldest faculty, offers a six-year medical education program leading to a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. The Faculty of Pediatrics specializes in healthcare for newborns, infants, children, and youth.
