Vrystaat Kunstefees is one of the leading arts festivals in Africa, presenting a diverse range of national and international works in various genres for the past 23 years. Guided by the principle of One festival, many stories, the festival aims to promote and showcase exceptional art in the Free State region. It is the first and only South African cultural entity to follow Khoi-San protocol, recognizing and honoring the First Nations people and traditional owners of the land.
