VSBA is a Philadelphia-based architecture and planning firm serving academic, cultural, health care, civic, and residential clients. The firm’s work spans design, renovation, planning, and programming, with additional expertise reflected in its interiors, graphics, and sustainability offerings. Its portfolio includes projects for colleges and universities, museums, health organizations, churches, and community institutions, as well as residential and hospitality work.

Recent projects illustrate the range of VSBA’s practice. They include music renovations and performance spaces at Community College of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Center, renovations at Princeton University, and Lenfest Hall for the Curtis Institute of Music. Civic and community-focused work includes the South Philadelphia Community Health and Literacy Center, the Narberth Avenue Bridge, and improvements for St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
