The Association of Austrian In-House Counsel (VUJ) is an independent, cross-industry professional organisation representing in-house legal professionals throughout Austria. It also represents Austria in the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA). With more than 500 members, VUJ works to strengthen the profession’s profile, represent its interests, encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience, and support professional education and development. It also promotes quality standards and contributes to the development of legal fields relevant to in-house practice.

VUJ offers ordinary and extraordinary individual memberships, each listed at €50 per year, as well as corporate memberships with tiered pricing. Members can access networking opportunities, specialist groups, member events, discounts and the counsel.hub platform. The association also organises events and exclusive activities, and supports members who want to join or establish a specialist group. Through its partnerships and international connections, VUJ provides a professional community for in-house counsel and fosters dialogue on legal and business issues affecting their work.
