Vulcan Metals Corp. is a North American manufacturer of highly engineered, large steel and specialty iron castings for demanding industrial applications. With more than 150 years in business, six facilities across North America, and over 6,000 tons of annual capacity available, the company serves customers in rail, military, heavy equipment, oil and gas, power generation, nuclear energy, and other industries.

Vulcan provides turnkey solutions that combine casting production with supporting services. Its capabilities include casting design optimization, foundry process engineering, in-house pattern and tooling manufacture, printed molds, machining, fabrication, and sub-assembly. The company works with carbon and alloy steels, stainless and duplex stainless steels, nickel-based materials, and specialty irons, producing castings weighing more than 55,000 pounds.

Testing and inspection services include dimensional and visual checks, chemical and microstructure analysis, impact testing, and nondestructive methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing. Vulcan maintains industry certifications and quality systems for its customer sectors, and is designated a small business by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
