Vulvaforeningen is a Norwegian patient association for people living with vulvar pain and related conditions. Founded in 2020, it is run on a voluntary basis by a board whose members have personal experience with pelvic pain. The association works to raise awareness of conditions such as vulvodynia, vaginismus, vestibulodynia, lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, psoriasis and other disorders affecting the vulva.
Its aims include promoting knowledge and research, improving access to care and treatment, and drawing attention to gaps in current services. Vulvaforeningen also creates a shared community where members can find support, connection and opportunities to help drive change. People can join as members or supporters, with different membership options, and the association shares information through news, podcasts, blog content and educational resources.
