Vunnar is an old-school MMORPG played directly in a web browser, with no download required. Set in a shared fantasy world shaped by the death of King Vunnar, the game centers on two rival realms: the Ravenmark, home to sailors, rune scholars and traders, and the Wolfsmark, whose people value hunting, strength and loyalty. Players choose a side and develop as a warrior or mage, exploring a world presented as sixteen kilometres across, with varied regions, settlements, creatures and a day-night cycle.

Vunnar emphasizes cooperative play, with group-focused quests, enemies and dungeons, including the instance-based Tomb of Haugrim. The game is free to play and rejects pay-to-win: purchases are limited to cosmetic items that provide no gameplay advantage. Its creator, Sweeax, describes Vunnar as a solo project inspired by classic MMORPG experiences and designed to bring players together through shared adventures. Planned additions include quests, more dungeons, guilds, professions, trading, player-built homes and conflicts between the realms. The public alpha test is scheduled to open on December 20, 2026.
