About Vuokon Luonnonsuojelusäätiö
Vuokon Luonnonsuojelusäätiö is dedicated to protecting and preserving Finnish biodiversity. Since 2007, we have supported 342 projects with a total of 365,660 euros, aimed at safeguarding species and habitats. Our initiatives, such as the Kakslammi nature reserve in Hausjärvi, contribute to maintaining rare insects and vital plant species, while also serving as a recreational area for local residents.
In addition, we coordinate efforts like the national vote that designated the Bright Blue as Finland's national butterfly in 2017. You can contribute to our cause by donating, which helps ensure the conservation of our natural heritage for future generations. If you have a conservation project needing assistance, we offer grants for activities like habitat management, species surveys, environmental education, and research.
