PGSA, or the VUW Postgraduate Students' Association, is a brand dedicated to enhancing the academic experience at Victoria University of Wellington. Run by a team of up to 13 postgraduate student volunteers, PGSA offers a range of services and resources to support postgraduate students. One key aspect of PGSA is student representation.

They encourage postgraduates to become student representatives on various boards and committees, ensuring that the views and perspectives of postgraduate students are considered in decision-making processes. Being a committee representative not only provides valuable insight into the University's administrative processes but also offers points towards the Victoria Plus Award and a chance to attend the annual PGSA Victorias Awards. In addition, PGSA provides grants and sponsorships for academic conferences and events, as well as awards and competitions to recognize research excellence.
