Vereniging voor Aangepast Sporten Tytsjerkstradiel

VvAST, the Association for Adapted Sports in Tytsjerksteradiel, helps people with disabilities enjoy sport in a safe, welcoming and accessible setting. For decades, the association has brought people together through recreational activities, with a focus on freedom, enjoyment and connection. Its three main sports are swimming in warm water, sailing on the Burgumermar and relaxed canoe trips. Members can take part in these activities through weekly sports sessions, and prospective participants are welcome to arrange an informal introduction and learn more.

VvAST also works with DOV Leeuwarden, enabling it to offer access to additional activities, including archery, table tennis, sitting volleyball, badminton, sport and games, billiards, recreational swimming, fencing and short mat bowls. The association shares information about its activities, events and news, and provides a photo gallery and member reviews.
