VVEB

Vízisport és Vitorlás Egyesület Balatonföldvár (VVEB) is a Hungarian water-sports association founded in 2003 at the initiative of György Holovits. Based in Balatonföldvár, the association works to make water sports accessible to local residents, holidaymakers, children, young people and adults in the surrounding area. Its activities combine recreation, physical fitness, skills development and community life, while encouraging a lasting interest in sport and supporting the development of future participants.

VVEB offers sailing and rowing activities, including sea rowing, fixed-seat rowing and rowing-ergometer sessions. Its programme also includes kayaking, dragon boat paddling and stand-up paddleboarding. For sailing, the association provides instruction, runs children’s sailing camps and organizes sailing competitions. The camps introduce children to the fundamentals of sailing, help them develop water-sports skills and offer opportunities to enjoy the natural surroundings of Lake Balaton. Through its sporting and community activities, VVEB aims to create welcoming opportunities for regular exercise, recreation, competition and participation in an active lifestyle.
