VVM '63

VVM ’63 is a community volleyball club based in Monnickendam, established in 1963. It welcomes players of all ages and experience levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors, and offers an accessible, friendly way to take part in the sport or come along to watch. The club’s teams include women’s and men’s senior sides, youth groups, and recreational players. Youth volleyball is available for children aged 9 to 15, with training in different groups and home matches on Saturdays. Recreational players and senior teams train and play home matches on Mondays; training information is available through the club.

Alongside regular practices and competition, VVM ’63 organizes social outings, team activities, and tournaments, including its annual Lof Tuinprojecten Oliebollentoernooi. The club highlights volleyball’s benefits for fitness, confidence, teamwork, and perseverance, and is seeking new youth, senior, and recreational members. It also provides information about membership, team clothing, schedules, and club news. VVM ’63 plays at Sporthal ’t Spil in Monnickendam, where the canteen accepts cash only.
