VYMaps is a global places directory designed to help people discover businesses and useful destinations around the world. Visitors can search for hotels, restaurants, shops, and many other places, using country and category listings to explore options across a wide range of locations. Its extensive directory categories span accommodation, food and drink, retail, travel, health, professional services, entertainment, and community organizations, helping users browse by the type of place they need.

The platform also invites businesses to get listed for free, giving them a way to promote their services and become easier for the community to find. Users are encouraged to contribute information, supporting the growth of the directory and its usefulness to others. Alongside its place-search tools, VYMaps features articles and information about the service through sections such as About, and provides an Add Listing option for businesses. By combining searchable listings, country coverage, category browsing, and community contributions, VYMaps aims to connect people with places and businesses in destinations around the world.
