In winter, depending on current snow and weather conditions, a series of cross-country ski loops is prepared. The entire venue and its trails are equipped with an extensive network for technical snowmaking. When natural snow conditions are ideal, the arena connects directly to the groomed winter tourist trails of the Novoměstsko ski region.

Vysočina Arena is a National Sports Centre in Nové Město na Moravě, designed primarily to host sporting events and support year-round training in cross-country skiing and biathlon. Its facilities serve athletes and visitors in both winter and summer, with conditions and activities adapted to the season. In winter, the arena prepares cross-country ski loops according to snow and weather conditions. An extensive technical snowmaking network supports the venue’s trails, which can connect to the groomed winter routes of the Novoměstsko ski region when natural snow conditions allow.
During summer, athletes can use roller-ski tracks with direct access to the shooting range and penalty loop, as well as an asphalt stadium. The stadium’s oval measures 415 metres and is also used for speed-skating training. The roller-ski network has five loops, ranging from 1.1 to 3.3 kilometres, with 8.5 kilometres of routes in total. Mountain-bike enthusiasts can explore the surrounding network of singletracks. Vysočina Arena also offers training and track reservations through its website.
