West Africa AIDS Foundation (WAAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, and other diseases in West Africa. Our mission is to provide care and support to promote healthier individuals and a better future for communities. At WAAF, we offer a range of services and programs to achieve our goals.

Our projects include prevention education, sensitization, and screening, as well as referral of positive cases to formal health facilities. We also focus on treatment, including enrolling individuals into HIV treatment, managing opportunistic infections, and administering anti-retroviral medicines. Additionally, we prioritize prevention efforts to reduce the number of new infections.

Our impact is substantial. Over the years, we have provided end-of-life care to 1,463 AIDS patients, reached over 5 million individuals with sexual and reproductive health education, screened and tested 645,242 individuals for HIV, and treated 368 vulnerable children. At WAAF, we value equal access to healthcare, inclusion of choice, equal care for women and men, zero tolerance for stigmatization, and confidentiality of client information.
