Wablief?! is a Dutch language-focused brand that brings people together through unusual words and the stories behind them. Its aim is to celebrate the Dutch language and make discovering its vocabulary an enjoyable, social experience. The brand’s first game edition, Wablief?! – Vergeetwoorden, is about “forgotten words”: older words that were once widely used but are heard less often today.
Through playful activities, the game invites people to encounter these distinctive words, learn about them and share the memories or stories they evoke. Wablief?! frames its approach around three ideas: laughing, learning and connecting. The game was created by Wablief?! and Living Story, with design by Eveline Wijdeveld.
