Wachlin Farms

Wachlin Farms is a family-owned and operated farm in Sherwood, Oregon, bringing together three small businesses: Amy’s Heirloom Vegetables, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch, and The Purple Hen Flowers and Herbs. The farm welcomes families to enjoy a relaxed, down-to-earth visit, with an emphasis on keeping the experience simple and prices accessible rather than making the property feel overly commercial.

Its offerings change with the seasons. In spring, The Purple Hen sells hanging baskets and bedding plants, along with flowers and herbs. From summer into fall, Amy’s Heirloom Vegetables grows a wide selection of heirloom vegetables on the farm. The produce is cultivated without sprays, using companion planting methods to support a natural growing approach. In autumn, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch features pumpkins, squash, gourds, and seasonal décor, creating a family-friendly destination for fall outings. Visitors can also stop by the farm store to explore products from the farm. Through its seasonal produce, plants, flowers, and pumpkin patch, Wachlin Farms offers a welcoming way to enjoy locally grown goods and farm experiences in the Sherwood area.
