The World Amateur 4 Player Best Ball Champions Tournament, known as WACT4BBB, is an amateur golf competition designed to give club golfers the chance to compete and represent their club and state. Teams of four members, each with a current Golf Link card, can enter one, two or all three qualifying trials held at local clubs throughout the year. In each chosen trial, all team members play two rounds and submit a joint score.
The leading 20 qualifying teams, together with two Golden Ticket winners, are invited to an all-expenses-paid trip to Tasmania for the Finals Championship. The finals span four celebrated links courses: Cape Wickham, Ocean Dunes, Barnbougle Dunes and Barnbougle Lost Farm. The championship team is determined by its results across all four courses. Each winning player receives a purple jacket and the opportunity to return the following year to defend the title.
WACT4BBB also offers online team registration and tournament information, including rules, finals details and partner resources. Entry includes a free three-month Golf Digest subscription.
