Waffensachkunde Nord provides firearms-safety training and state-recognised examinations under Section 7 of Germany’s Weapons Act. Based in Scharbeutz, the organisation offers courses for sports shooters, professional armed personnel and people at risk. Its training combines theory and practical instruction, with teaching and examination held at the same location. Courses are taught and assessed by instructors with practical backgrounds, including experience as firearms trainers, police officers, sports shooters or hunters. Small groups of up to 12 participants and a family-oriented atmosphere are among the features highlighted by the school.

Offerings include standard and VIP firearms-competency courses, handgun training, preparation for the practical examination, and shooting instruction. Professional armed personnel can also attend quarterly shooting practice combined with subject training under DGUV V23 §18. Modern training firearms are available for use, and the course fee includes the school’s “Waffensachkunde kompakt und verständlich” textbook. Waffensachkunde Nord also provides course information, registration, documents and details about its training location and schedule.
