WAGC

WGC Finland Oy manages Finland’s participation in the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) and related amateur golf events. Through its annual qualifying tour, the organization gives golfers across Finland the opportunity to compete for a place on Team Finland and advance to international finals. Qualifying events are held with golf clubs around the country, with formats including pair competitions and individual play. For 2026, the Finnish final is scheduled at Vierumäki Golf, where players compete in five handicap groups; winners earn places on the national team. A separate short-game contest also offers a route to selection.

The international WAGC final brings together amateur golfers for multi-round competition at courses in different host destinations. The 2026 final is planned for Johor, Malaysia, with Team Finland competing across five courses. WGC Finland Oy also shares event news, tournament histories, team updates and practical information for players and partners. Its activities connect local golf clubs and competitors with an international amateur championship, while promoting fair competition, participation and team spirit.
