Wagner’s Rose Nursery is a renowned family-owned brand that has been cultivating roses for over 70 years. The legacy began with Harold Baker in the 1950s in Payneham, Adelaide. Later, his daughter Barbara and her husband Earl Wagner took charge, moving the business from Tea Tree Gully to Payneham before settling in Port Noarlunga South, where they became a prominent name in South Australia.

In the early 1980s, Brian Wagner, Barbara's son, stepped in and expanded the family business at McLaren Vale, establishing both a wholesale and retail operation. Brian's passion for roses blossomed from a young age, spending countless hours at the nursery and even starting his first job as a bloom picker at the tender age of 7. Water restrictions in McLaren Vale led Brian to search for a new location, eventually finding the ideal property in Kalangadoo, South Australia.

Since then, Wagner’s Rose Nursery has flourished and grown to become one of Australia's largest rose growers. They supply nurseries, councils, and garden centers nationwide. Additionally, their online retail outlet continues to thrive each year.

Under the helm of Brian and his wife Benedetta, who brings her photography and communication skills to the business, Wagner’s Rose Nursery has become a leading force in the industry. Living in Kalangadoo with their children Luca and Chiara, they have nurtured the brand and expanded their offerings.
