Wagonhound Outfitters

Wagonhound Outfitters is a Wyoming hunting outfitter based near Douglas, offering guided trophy hunts across 300,000 acres in the Laramie Mountain range. The ranch is located in the renowned elk area 7 and is particularly known for elk hunting. Experienced professional guides lead hunts designed for different species and experience levels, including September archery trips and fall rifle hunts.

The outfitter offers guided hunts for elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, black bear, upland birds, and waterfowl. Antelope trips are available by archery or rifle, while spring black bear hunts take place over established bait sites, subject to the season quota. The ranch’s varied terrain, native grasslands, and access to more than 13 miles of the North Platte River support bird hunting as well as big-game adventures.

Wagonhound also provides client accommodations and hospitality during hunting trips. Visitors can review gear lists, seasons, licenses, rates, hunt galleries, videos, and awards information when planning a trip. The company shares field-preparation instruction, including techniques for caping, quartering, and packing elk.
