WAGS 4 Kids

W.A.G.S. 4 Kids is an organization serving children with disabilities in Northeast and Central Ohio. Its mission is to provide mobility service dogs and autism service animals tailored to each child’s specific needs. The organization uses an award-winning, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction-accredited service dog training program to prepare dogs for this work, helping children and families build new possibilities through animal assistance.

W.A.G.S. 4 Kids connects families with its services through an application process and also offers programs for young people, including Kids Who Can! and a youth program. Its prison program is part of its broader dog-training work. Community members can support the mission by donating, volunteering, becoming a partner, attending events, or joining the foster program. Foster families provide a caring home for future service dogs, while W.A.G.S. 4 Kids supplies training and materials.

Based in Berea, Ohio, the organization also serves Central Ohio from Columbus.
