Wahner Wibbelstetze e.V. is a family-oriented carnival association based in Cologne-Porz-Wahn, with an active community life that extends throughout the year. Founded in 2002, the club brings together people who enjoy carnival, dance and spending time as a community. Its three dance groups are a central part of its identity: Wibbelchen welcomes children aged 3 to 8, the children’s dance group is for ages 8 to 17, and the large dance group is for adults aged 18 and over. Their performances entertain audiences in Cologne and beyond, including at the Lachende KölnArena.
Members and visitors can take part in regular gatherings, group outings and a family day at a local adventure playground. The association also hosts seasonal events, including the WibbelWahn celebration, Halloween parties, a carnival-session opening and an Advent market. Its Vereinsheim, renovated from a former shooting club building, is available to rent for private events and celebrations. Membership is open to active performers, behind-the-scenes helpers and supporters.
