About Waimataitai
Welcome to Waimataitai School, a full primary school located in Timaru, New Zealand. With a roll of approximately 515 students, we are able to provide a wide range of programs and opportunities that may not be available in smaller primary schools. Our aim is to foster a sense of family and positive behaviors within our school community.
At Waimataitai, we prioritize the development of well-rounded individuals, offering a comprehensive curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. Our students have access to a fully networked computer system, as well as interactive learning systems, internet, Skype, and email. We provide a supportive learning environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best.
We actively promote values such as honesty, respect, courage, cooperation, responsibility, tolerance, and caring within our school community.
