About Wakisa Ministries
Wakisa Ministries, established in August 2005, is a Pregnancy Crisis Center in Uganda founded by Mrs. Vivian Kityo. It serves young women facing unwanted pregnancies, offering them shelter, counseling, and care services.
The ministry's objective is to promote the dignity and self-esteem of young girls in crisis pregnancy while addressing their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Through temporary shelter, vocational training, and Christian discipleship, Wakisa Ministries aims to transform the lives of these vulnerable youth. The organization's values include youth-centeredness, respect for all, passion, and Christ-centeredness.
