Walkersons Private Estate

Walkersons Private Estate is an upmarket residential estate in South Africa’s Eastern Highlands, offering a limited number of owners an exclusive country lifestyle near Dullstroom. Set in an 800-hectare valley about 10 kilometres from town, the estate combines manicured grounds with a mountain reserve, indigenous flora and fauna, paved walking paths, hiking trails and more than four kilometres of river frontage. Its lakes and dams support outdoor recreation, particularly fly-fishing: 11 dams are stocked every three weeks with rainbow trout and, occasionally, brown trout.

The estate welcomes homeowners and guests of the Walkersons Hotel, providing a peaceful rural retreat and access to its recreational facilities. For convenient arrival, it has a 1,000-metre asphalt runway for light aircraft; helicopter access is available via the helipad at the hotel. These facilities are restricted to homeowners, their guests and hotel guests. Walkersons Private Estate is managed through its Homeowners Association, with Encha Property Services serving as managing agents.
