About Kids Help Phone
BMO Walk so Kids Can Talk is an annual fundraising event that brings communities together to support Kids Help Phone and young people’s mental health in Canada. Its 24th annual walk took place on May 3, 2026, with more than 15,000 participants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters gathering at 16 locations across the country. Together, they raised $3.9 million to help ensure young people can access support for any reason and in any moment of need.
The event invites individuals, schools, businesses, and community groups to participate, fundraise, volunteer, donate, or explore sponsorship opportunities. Participants can submit cash donations through their fundraising pages and send cheque donations to the Kids Help Phone Foundation for allocation and tax-receipt processing. The initiative also encourages corporate partnerships and school involvement, with information available through the organizing team. By connecting fundraising with Kids Help Phone’s support for youth, BMO Walk so Kids Can Talk aims to help young people navigate life’s challenges, explore their identities, and find hope.
