Little Amal is a brand that encompasses the inspiring journey of a 12-foot puppet representing a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child called Amal. This remarkable puppet, known as Little Amal, is at the heart of The Walk and has become a worldwide symbol of human rights, particularly those of refugees. Since July 2021, Little Amal has traveled over 9,000km to 15 countries, receiving a warm welcome from more than a million people on the streets and millions more online.

In a remarkable expedition between September 7 and November 5, 2023, Little Amal will embark on a 6,000-mile journey across the United States, visiting 35 towns and cities from Boston to San Diego. Over 1,000 artists and arts organizations will create 100+ events to celebrate her arrival. The puppet of Little Amal was expertly designed and built by the renowned Handspring Puppet Company, showcasing their exceptional craftsmanship.
