Wallingford Babybar is a registered charity offering free, welcoming support to families with babies and young children. Based at The Ridgeway in Wallingford, it brings parents and carers together for friendly, face-to-face sessions where they can ask questions, share experiences and enjoy a hot drink and cake. Thursday morning social sessions run from 10am to 12pm and are drop-in, with no booking required.
Trained peer supporters can discuss general questions about infant feeding, sleep, weaning, returning to work and life with a baby. For more complex feeding concerns, visitors can ask to speak with infant feeding specialists Karen or Sarah, who provide one-to-one consultations and support families whatever way they feed their baby. Wallingford Babybar also shares a library of recorded feeding clinics on Facebook, with evidence-based advice on topics including feeding, sleep, weaning and travelling with a baby.
