Walter BT

Walter Bt. is a family-rooted stoneworking and memorial services business with more than five decades of experience. Founded in 1971 under the guidance of master stonemason József Walter, the company has grown into a stone-processing and installation specialist serving customers in western Transdanubia. Its workshop combines skilled craftsmanship with modern cutting, profiling, milling and sandblasting equipment, enabling custom projects from site measurement through full installation.

The company creates single and double grave sets, tombstones, crypts and urn graves, with designs tailored to customers’ preferences. Memorials can include engraved or bronze lettering and religious symbols, as well as vases, candle holders, photographs, portraits and sculptures. Walter Bt. also provides hand and machine engraving, including photo and portrait work. Beyond cemetery projects, its services include exterior and interior construction work and funeral services.

Customers can view products and receive advice and design assistance at the Walter Stone and Memorial Centre in Mohács, which offers a substantial showroom and display area.
