Friederike Walther-Frank is an independent midwife based in Dresden-Klotzsche, providing personal support to expectant parents from pregnancy through birth preparation, the postnatal period and breastfeeding. With more than 25 years of professional experience, she offers appointments at her practice and home visits across Dresden’s northern districts and nearby areas. Her services include pregnancy check-ups, guidance for common pregnancy concerns, individual birth-preparation consultations, postnatal care and breastfeeding support.
After birth, visits can begin daily and become less frequent according to each family’s needs. Additional services include acupuncture, taping, moxibustion, soft laser therapy, pelvic-floor exercise, foot-reflexology massage and advice on introducing solid foods. She also provides compassionate support following stillbirth or miscarriage.
Some services, including routine pregnancy care, postnatal care and breastfeeding advice, are covered by health insurance; certain additional therapies are charged privately. Partners are welcome to join appointments and preparation sessions. Walther-Frank’s approach emphasizes attentive, individualized care, practical guidance and a welcoming environment for parents and babies
