Wanaka Swim Club

Wanaka Swim Club is a community swimming club based in Wānaka, New Zealand, serving local swimmers since the 1980s. It welcomes people with different goals, from swimming for fitness to pursuing competitive success, and offers a supportive environment guided by committed coaches. The club’s focus is on helping members develop their potential in the water through skill-building, technique refinement, personalised coaching and structured training.

Wanaka Swim Club provides a range of squads for swimmers at different stages of development. These include Foundation, Regional Development, Regional Performance, Junior National Development, Age Group National Performance and other regional and performance pathways. Squads train throughout the week at the Wanaka Recreation Centre. The club also provides information for prospective members about joining, squad options, timetables and fees, along with uniforms and a target meet calendar.
