Wången is a Swedish equine education and knowledge centre for people who love horses. It serves as the national facility for trotting, a centre for Icelandic horse education, and a hub for working-horse activities. Its programmes span upper-secondary, university, vocational and folk high school education, as well as camps, supported by experienced teachers and school horses. Wången also conducts research and works to make findings accessible to people across the horse industry, linking education, research and practical needs. Its horse-related operations are certified under Sweden’s Quality-Marked Horse Business scheme.

Visitors can enjoy horse-centred experiences and stay at Wången’s Wärdshus, which offers accommodation, conference facilities, events and meals. The inn serves lunch and dinner on weekdays for most of the year, with service set amid natural surroundings and a focus on hospitality. Wången also supports working-horse services, including help with starting horses in harness and finding drivers for sensitive natural areas. Through education, research, hospitality and equine activities, Wången brings together learning and practical experiences for people interested in horses.
