Built in Rust, it supports Stratum V1 and V2, TLS, and translation between the protocols to accommodate both newer and legacy miners. Its non-custodial design sends the block reward directly to the miner’s wallet through the coinbase, with no accounts or pool fees in per-worker mode.
The software supports a wide range of setups, from Raspberry Pi devices to server hardware, and welcomes small lottery miners alongside larger ASICs. Operators can monitor hashrate, miner activity, shares, and energy or solar data through an installable dashboard available in eight languages. Security features include two-factor authentication, scoped API tokens, audit logging, and Stratum access controls.
dvb-WarpPool is available through Umbrel, Docker, and native packages for several platforms. Releases include reproducible builds and signed artifacts. The project also offers WarpAxe, open-source firmware for Bitaxe Gamma and NerdQAxe++ devices. Solo mining remains probabilistic; the software does not promise rewards.
