Warsop Carnival

Warsop Carnival is a community-led organisation that brings residents and visitors together for an annual fun day in North Nottinghamshire. Its event, held at The Carrs, is described as the area’s largest free annual outdoor event, featuring attractions and entertainment for the public. A volunteer committee plans and delivers Carnival Day, coordinating the site, safety, promotion, finances, volunteers and event activities. The organisation also recognises the vital contributions of local sponsors and volunteers, whose support helps make both the website and carnival possible.

Through its website, Warsop Carnival shares information about upcoming events, the venue and directions, the committee, sponsors and the carnival’s history. Stallholders and attraction providers can make booking enquiries, while members of the public are invited to send feedback and suggestions to help improve future events. The organisation also welcomes new committee members and community volunteers, and provides contact options by email, Facebook and website forms. Its focus is on local participation, collaboration and creating an enjoyable, accessible celebration for the community.
