Warwickshire Golf

Warwickshire Ladies County Golf Association (WLCGA) is the county organisation for women and girls who play golf in Warwickshire. Founded in 1900, it promotes the sport to golfers of all ages and abilities, bringing members together through competitions and social events conducted in the spirit of the game. In 2024, the Warwickshire Veterans Ladies Golf Association amalgamated with WLCGA, broadening the county association’s community.

WLCGA organises a varied programme of competitions, including women’s, girls’, seniors’ and inter-club events, as well as county, Midlands and national opportunities. Its website provides competition fixtures, online entry, results, live leaderboard information and player profiles. The association also supports county teams, including first, second, girls’ and seniors’ teams, and invests members’ subscriptions in team development and junior golf.

For those looking to get involved, WLCGA offers information about coaching pathways, junior golf, initiatives for women and girls, and a county bursary. It also shares club and handicap information, news, policies and resources for affiliated clubs, helping golfers connect with opportunities across Warwickshire.
