WASEDA USA

Waseda USA supports connections between Waseda University in Japan and students and educational communities in North America. Its giving programs help advance student exchange, research, education, and opportunities for future global leaders. Donations to Waseda USA benefit North American students studying at Waseda and, in some cases, Waseda students studying in the United States.

Supporters can contribute to the Study Abroad Fund, which promotes student exchange between Japan and the United States, or to the Waseda Fund, which supports research and educational activities. The organization also invites donations to the Haruki Murakami Library to help sustain the international research center’s operations and advance its research projects.

Waseda USA shares stories from students and donors to illustrate the impact of international study. These include the Oregon Study Abroad Scholarship, established by Waseda alumnus Doug Etzel, and the experience of Waseda student Mie Kichiya, who studied at Portland State University through the scholarship.
