Washington State Archery

The Washington State Archery Association (WSAA) is a statewide organization dedicated to promoting and growing archery and bowhunting in Washington. It welcomes people of all ages and skill levels, whether they compete, hunt, or simply enjoy shooting a bow. Membership connects participants with a community of archers, clubs, and shops, and offers access to state championships, divisional recognition, and Archer of the Year awards.

WSAA organizes six state championship tournaments each year: Indoor Multi-Color, Indoor Blueface, Safari, Marked 3D, Field, and Outdoor Target. It also runs a winter mail-in league, with online registration for championship and league events. The association maintains an event calendar where chartered clubs and shops can promote activities, and its members host Northwest indoor and outdoor sectional events.

Beyond competition, WSAA supports ethical hunting and accurate shooting, advocates for archers through a liaison to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Game Management Advisory Council, and participates in wildlife conservation efforts.
