About #WASPI Campaign
The WASPI Campaign, founded in 2015, is a dedicated advocacy group fighting for equality and justice for women born between April 6, 1950, and April 5, 1960. With a robust community of over 107,000 supporters on Facebook, the campaign draws strength from collective action against the unfair implementation of changes to the State Pension Age (SPA). While WASPI supports the equalization of the pension age, it challenges the lack of adequate notice and the adverse impact these changes have had on women in this age group.
The organization offers a variety of resources, tools, and templates for those seeking to make their voices heard, alongside opportunities to join local groups. The WASPI Campaign encourages individuals to become involved, providing a platform for solidarity and change. Through fundraising activities and events like demonstrations, WASPI strives to secure fair treatment and compensation for affected women.
