Wasserforscher is an educational information service from the Bavarian Environment Agency (LfU Bayern), dedicated to learning about water and its role in the environment. It helps teachers, students, education providers, conservation groups and other interested members of the public explore the connections within rivers and other water ecosystems. The initiative promotes awareness of water as a resource and of the habitats that healthy waters support, encouraging people to experience local streams and rivers and engage with them responsibly.

The service brings together an overview of water-related environmental education opportunities in Bavaria and beyond. Its resources include brochures, teaching guides and digital learning materials, as well as information about current water projects and activities for school classes and youth groups. Visitors can also find background information, ideas and activities for children, and links to environmental education networks. By organizing existing materials and initiatives in one place, Wasserforscher supports both classroom and extracurricular learning.
