About Wassermann Wranch
Wassermann Wranch is a family-oriented West Texas destination whose animal visits and events created memorable experiences for visitors over 12 years. Based in Alpine, the Wranch introduced guests to friendly donkeys, alpacas and other camelids, kangaroos, and additional animals. Its activities included tours, pumpkin patches, children’s camps, and Christmas events, offering families opportunities to connect with animals and make memories together.
The Wranch has now closed to visitors, but its retail store remains open at 203 W. Holland Avenue in downtown Alpine and online through the end of 2026. Operating as Wassermann’s, the store offers products inspired by the animals and the Wranch’s distinctive character.
Its selection includes alpaca socks, blankets, and throws, along with unique gifts, women’s warm clothing, and men’s warm clothing. The website also shares stories and reflections from the Wranch’s years of caring for animals and welcoming guests. Wassermann’s combines practical merchandise with keepsakes that celebrate the experiences and relationships formed at the former Wranch
