Watch your Six

Watch Your Six! is a Krav Maga and self-defense training provider based at Gym Life in Friedberg, Germany. Its program teaches practical ways to respond to violence and, where possible, avoid it, with an emphasis on communication, de-escalation, tactics, escape, stress drills, and scenario-based practice. The club offers adult training for participants aged 14 and over, as well as children’s and youth classes for ages 6 to 13.

Children develop strength, fitness, coordination, confidence, and self-assertion through varied, age-appropriate activities, including inclusive training. Belts are awarded according to each child’s progress. The club also holds monthly stick and weapons training, focusing on using a stick in self-defense and applying related principles to everyday objects; children use padded training weapons.

Classes are led by instructors with Krav Maga and youth-training qualifications, alongside experience in self-defense and related disciplines. Watch Your Six! welcomes prospective members to speak with the team at training. Adult sessions take place on Tuesdays and Fridays, children’s sessions on Fridays, with schedules subject to holiday arrangements
