WATERCYCLING GOLDCOAST

WaterCycling Gold Coast, based at Burleigh Miami Swim School, offers pool-based aqua cycling and core training for fitness, fun, and physical wellbeing. Led by Michael Rouse, a Chi Kung practitioner and Pilates instructor, the program emphasizes movement, breathing, balance, and using the core to power each workout. Classes take place on stationary aqua cycles in an indoor heated pool and are designed to provide energetic, low-impact exercise throughout the year.

The service welcomes participants from age eight, with options for group classes, one-on-one coaching, corporate fitness, and programs for older adults, people with movement limitations, and high-performance athletes. Sessions can be tailored to different goals, from gentle rehabilitation and recovery to higher-intensity training. Group classes run for 45 minutes, with additional times available by appointment. Participants need to be confident walking in water but do not need to know how to swim or ride a bicycle. Water shoes are required for the pedals.
