Waterproof Maastricht

WZV Waterproof Maastricht is an inclusive, recreational water polo club welcoming players of different ages and experience levels. In the 2026/27 season, the club fields five teams: one women’s team, three men’s teams and one youth team for players under 16. Training takes place at the Geusseltbad in Maastricht, with sessions scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. New members are welcome to watch a training session or match and may join up to three trial sessions free of charge; advance registration is required. After trying the sport, players can choose to train only or train and compete, with student membership also available.

Waterproof Students is the club’s student branch for students with an eligible UM SPORTS membership. Students can try three sessions before deciding whether to join for training alone or to train and play matches in a women’s or men’s team. Student membership requires a separate Waterproof Students membership and a UM SPORTS Sports, Gym or All-in-One membership valid for a semester or year; monthly memberships are not eligible.
