Watershed RDA

Watershed RDA is a registered charity based at Watershed Stables in Coates, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire. It champions disabled people through riding sessions that combine enjoyment, skill development and progress toward personal goals. The group serves participants aged three to 63 and over, offering ongoing sessions for individuals and small groups. Riding takes place in an outdoor arena or the adjoining countryside, with ponies supporting the experience. Watershed describes its work as riding therapy and aims to create an encouraging environment where disabled riders can learn new skills and enjoy time with horses.

Its activities include riding sessions, community events and fundraising, as well as opportunities to learn about its ponies through its website and gallery. The charity relies on volunteers, whose time and expertise help deliver its programme, and on donations to meet running costs and support its ponies and riders. People can contact Watershed to enquire about sessions, volunteer, or contribute to the charity’s work.
