Wayward Irish Spirits is a small-batch Irish spirits producer based at Lakeview Estate on the Lakes of Killarney. The brand draws on the estate’s sense of place and a 900-year family story, creating spirits with a focus on provenance, flavour and deliberate production rather than industrial scale.
Its award-winning Liberator whiskey range is distinguished by the exclusive use of fresh Port casks sourced directly from the Quinta, which contribute bold, layered flavours. Lakeview Single Estate Whiskey is made from the estate’s own barley and matured entirely on site. Shaped by the estate’s changing microclimate, this Pot Still Whiskey is described as rich, smooth and complex, with a strong connection to its origins. The range also includes Wayward Smoky Gin, an original, smoky take on a classic spirit.
Wayward Irish Spirits offers tours and tastings on a limited basis, with V.V.I.P. visits available by prior appointment depending on the production schedule.
