WBE Hoeksche Waard is a local wildlife management association serving the Hoeksche Waard region and part of the Island of Dordrecht in the Netherlands. It brings together hunters and land users to pool local knowledge and experience, supporting wildlife, habitat and nature management throughout the year. The association’s work includes wildlife and bird counts, habitat improvement, hunting and the prevention of wildlife-related damage. It also participates in activities such as field trials for hunting dogs, public information events and nature initiatives.

The association has a long history of cooperation among hunters and farmers. Its present form developed through the consolidation of several local wildlife management groups, creating a broader organization able to coordinate management across the area. WBE Hoeksche Waard shares local news, notices, events and wildlife information through its website. It also provides guidance on what to do after a collision with wildlife, including contacting the association and police. Members can submit photographs for possible publication in the organization’s newsletter and online.
