WBEC-East

Women’s Business Enterprise Center East (WBEC-East) supports entrepreneurs and helps businesses start, grow, and reach new opportunities. Serving the East, the organization connects business owners with training, certification guidance, financing resources, and networks that can help them develop and expand their companies.

WBEC-East offers workshops and courses for entrepreneurs at different stages, including business-readiness programs, FastTrac, and on-demand learning. Its free Orientation and Business Assessment workshop introduces participants to the center’s services and ways to strengthen a business. The organization also helps businesses apply for or renew Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) certification and provides information about Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification.

Additional resources cover access to capital, export assistance, legal matters, government and local resources, business registration, taxes, and website and marketing tools. Through events, committees, awards, and networking opportunities, WBEC-East fosters connections among entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and government organizations. Its Access to Capital Hub includes ASSETS, which offers expert training and flexible financing.
