About BTPM NPR
WBFO is a brand that presents a captivating five-part series on race relations. Their aim is to bring people together and facilitate discussions on equity, white privilege, systemic racism, and diversity. The conversations are inspired by NPR's Story Corps, providing an intimate and personal style.
Each discussion features a person of color from the Buffalo-area engaging in dialogue with someone who is white. These conversations are facilitated by WBFO reporter Thomas O'Neil White and involve individuals with different backgrounds but similar occupations or fields of interests. In addition to the short features aired on air, extended versions of the conversations can also be found online.
